Torq: Opening for Ashley Wallbridge & Mike Shiver at Ruby Skye

by brian on Jun.13, 2010 | Gigs

It’s not every week that you get two world-class trance producers and DJs coming to San Francisco to appear as part of a double headliner show. It’s even rarer to have such a performance be the San Francisco debut for one of those artists.

The stars are aligning on July 8th though, and I couldn’t be more excited to open TORQ for Ashley Wallbridge and Mike Shiver at Ruby Skye!

Be sure to grab your pre-sale tickets in advance — this event is going to be HUGE!

Syncopation now on Mugasha!

by brian on Jun.10, 2010 | Syncopation

With the debut edition of my new show on Pure.FM barely a week behind us, it’s incredibly exciting to announce that Mugasha will be carrying the show, effective… immediately. For those of you not yet familiar with the wonder and joy that is Mugasha, you’ve got to check it out: podcasts, sets, and special tracks by the world’s top DJs and electronic music producers, all in an incredibly easy-to-use interface. They did a fantastic job with the live broadcast of my Helix party from Ruby Skye last month, and I couldn’t be happier to have Syncopation with Means+Function on Mugasha.

Give it a click and listen to Syncopation 001 on Mugasha!

UPDATE: Over 880 plays of Syncopation 001 after just 48 hours on the site! Incredible.

Syncopation on Pure.FM

by brian on Jun.02, 2010 | Syncopation

Tune in this Friday for the debut of Syncopation, my new radio show on Pure.FM! If you missed the last Helix event at Ruby Skye in San Francisco, then you’re in luck: the premiere episode of Syncopation is from the live recording of my set that night.

Each month I’ll also be featuring a guest mix in the second hour of the show. For the debut edition, it’s my privilege to welcome Ryan Russell (TORQ SF / AHR / Friction) to the show.

Be sure to tune in and check it out — 3pm PDT / 10pm GMT this Friday at http://www.pure.fm/trance.m3u!
